Butterscotch is Fiesta’s new 2020 color!

Every year we watch to see what Fiesta‘s new dinnerware color will be. If you follow me on Instagram for any length of time, you’ll inevitably learn we are a Fiesta household. There’s a flash of Scarlet in my feed when I photograph a home meal on a plate or platter or in a bowl. While I am Scarlet loyal, my husband says Fiesta’s 2020 color is his favorite ever, and I have to agree it’s gorgeous.

Butterscotch is the fifty-second color Fiesta has produced since 1936, and it has not retired any colors for 2020, bringing its current range to fifteen shades. Also in production are: Ivory, Slate, Scarlet, Poppy, Daffodil, Sunflower, Lemongrass, Shamrock, Meadow, Turquoise, Lapis, Cobalt, Mulberry, and White.

Fiesta created a chart to compare Butterscotch against other colors on the citrus spectrum:

The company began taking online preorders for the shade on June 15 and shipping starts on July 1.

Maybe we’ll start mixing and matching colors to work Butterscotch into our home. Will you be buying the new cheery shade or do you have another favorite Fiesta color? Let me know in the comments below!

I didn’t even realize that Fiesta had a new color every year! I like this butterscotch. My favorite is turquoise — the color of my kitchen.

Fiesta does a great job of choosing new colors of the year that look classic. Because of that, I was not aware of how they have a color of the year and retire some, too! Turquoise is another pretty, cheery color. Your kitchen must look great!
